Hi,
After over six years experience as a photographer for a well known national portrait photography company, I decided to go it alone and form my own business. Based in Halifax, West Yorkshire, Karen Ross Photography is now well established with an excellent reputation for quality wedding, portrait and event photography.
Portraits
Portraits can be taken either at a location of your own choice or in our comfortable and relaxed studio near Halifax. If you decide to use your own home then we can set up a studio or use your house or garden as a natural backdrop.
Portrait days
We also offer a service to help you raise funds for your local charity, school or club. Portrait days are a great way for organisations to have fun, capture some great memories and raise money with minimal effort. Your members, supporters or colleagues are invited to book a sitting in a fully equipped studio at your premises for a 20 minute session. Afterwards you will be given a password to view the photographs and order online. A pre-agreed percentage of the photo sales is thn given back to your organisation.
Weddings
We take this most important of days very seriously at Karen Ross Photography and will ensure everything runs smoothly and to plan. We always provide two photographers at every wedding, ensuring that as many of those special moments as possible are captured, whether formal or relaxed.
With every booking we offer the service of visiting your home prior to the wedding to discuss your requirements and on the day will stay right through to the start of the reception.
Very shortly after the wedding day, a DVD slide show with music of your choice will be sent to you along with a signon for our online facility allowing you to view all of your photographs. As well as the main album and DVD we also offer parent's albums, mounted and framed prints or alternatively, canvas wraps.
